My Scenes
Scene1
Leo looked at his dad in fear. He knew that his dad had been drinking from his smell of alcohol and vomit. Fearing for the worst, he hid in his room as he heard his dad mutter angrily.
Scene2
The next day, he went to work at his job as a pipe fitter. When he got home, he saw his dad passed out on the couch. Making sure not to wake him, he sneaked up to his own room, but accidentally knocked over a bottle of beer. His father woke up from the sound and angrily looked at him. His dad punched him and muttered “you will never amount to anything” before going back to sleep.
Scene3
Things got better for Leo by moving to his aunt’s place, but not by much. She wasn’t strict but made less so he needed to work more. As he walked home from work one day, he saw a recruitment poster for the army. He went over to the recruitment building and asked “Can I join?”. The recruiter sized him up and said “Eh, why not” and waved him toward the sign up board. He went there and wrote his name, age and some other information.
Scene 4
Leo and his squad went to meet General Montgomery in the meeting room. “I’m assigning your squad to invade Normandy along with the main force.” walking out of the room, Leo muttered to his friend, Arsenault “That bastard Montgoremy. He wants us to die”.
Bryan( Invasion of Normandy)
Scene5
Leo and Arsenault were running in a field. They went to a building under fire. As they shot an enemy, they notice a German tank. *animate exclamation mark on top of head*
Scene6
Leo sneaked up on the tank and climbed up. He killed 2 guards and went inside the tank where he shot the drivers. As he popped out of the tank, his friend looked at him in shock.
Scene7
Later, he fought some Germans and one of them tossed a grenade at him. He ran from his position and glanced back slightly. The grenade went off, launching him away. He hit the ground with a thud and lost consciousness
Scene8
Leo woke up in a hospital. The first thing he noticed was how half his vision was blotted out. He looked in a mirror and realised that he was wearing an eyepatch.
Harold (Battle of the Scheldt)
Scene9
Leo and his friend, Arsenault, were assigned to find a company of recruits that had disappeared after being sent to capture a town. However, as Arsenault fell ill, Leo went alone.
Scene10
After finding the company's abandoned equipment and determining they had been captured, Leo entered a house to find shelter from the rain and the cold, when he spotted two German soldiers walking along a dike. He captured the first German, used him as bait to capture the other, and brought them to their commanding officer. The officer and his company, totaling around 100 men, surrendered.
Scene11
In a nearby group of houses, SS troops saw the company surrender and opened fire on them, killing and injuring a few of them. Leo ignored the enemy fire and continued taking his prisoners to the Canadian front line, ordering a passing Canadian tank to fire on the SS troops. He went back to camp with the surviving prisoners.
Scene12
In 1945, Leo was loading corpses from a destroyed tank. One of his teammates accidentally struck a land mine and was killed while knocking Leo unconscious. He was then transported to the field hospital.
Daniel (Battle of Zwolle)
Scene 13
Leo led a reconnaissance patrol into Zwolle with his partner, Arsenault. However, Arsenault was killed in a skirmish between them and 2 guards. Enraged, Leo killed both of them and devised a plan.
Scene 14
Leo got intel and launched an assault on the main garrison of the city. His tactics confused all the soldiers he met and he got to the garrison without a direct confrontation. He captured it when he got the leader as a hostage.

Scene 15
Following the capture of the German garrison, Major continued his mission and launched a series of attacks on other German positions throughout the city. He used a combination of stealth, guerilla tactics, and psychological warfare to demoralise the enemy and prevent them from mounting a counterattack.

Scene 16
His actions ultimately led to the liberation of Zwolle, and Major became a hero among the Dutch people. His courage and determination during the Battle of Zwolle have since been recognized as one of the most impressive feats of individual bravery in Canadian military history.
